The Thornbury Hospital (Tier 3 Accredited) opens 7 days a week for
consultations.
Thornbury is the longest established veterinary surgery in the area. It is both a first opinion practice for its own clients and a referral centre for cases requiring complex/detailed investigation from other sites.
The newly-renovated and expanded hospital has separate cat and dog wards, two operating theatres, a dedicated dental suite, ultrasonography, radiography and every gadget that a poorly pet might need. At Thornbury we have a team of four qualified veterinary nurses and an experienced team of vets with further qualifications in surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology and dermatology. We are a recognised training centre for veterinary nurses.
